Welcome to Johnson's Home & Garden
Red Romaine has oblong, burgundy leaves. The heads are upright with crunchy midribs. This is a useful, colorful gourmet variety. Color may vary from deep green to deep red. Innermost leaves are lighter green and the most tender. Color deepens in cooler weather.
Make successive plantings every 10 to 14 days for a continuous harvest. You can start harvestion as soon as the outer leaves are large enough.
